Plan and deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to support development.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
Experience:
- Previous teaching experience in a Primary school setting is essential.
- Experience across multiple key stages or in SEND/EAL support is desirable but not required.
- Experience delivering targeted interventions is advantageous.
Skills:
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver creative, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Flexible and adaptable to different school environments and teaching styles.
Educational requirements:
- Evidence of continued professional development is desirable.
- Valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
