Keenan Recruitment has been retained to recruit for a Team Leader for a Childrens Residential Home, supporting child residents who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, to pursue a valued lifestyle by supporting them and ensuring that all their social, emotional, spiritual and daily activity needs are met. The Team Leader will work on a rota basis that includes unsocial hours and weekends. Location: Holywood. Salary: £33,696 per annum. Contract: Temporary to permanent. Hours: 40 hours per week. This Home benefits from a beautiful, modern, spacious and recently refurbished interior, and a beautiful garden with a swing, trampoline, flowers and herbs. Their approach is holistic and treating their eco system with respect is integral to our overall ethos. This Home maintains a homely and comfortable environment for residents instilling a sense of security and belonging. The house is a constantly evolving space, and visitors are often struck by the colourful interior and personal touches; things which our client take great pride in. The team are committed to creating a clean, safe and happy environment which meets the needs of their individual residents to the highest possible standard. Staff training is tailored to the individual needs of the residents and they always seek to create a positive and supportive working environment whereby everyone feels valued and listened to; They believe that this is essential for team morale and for achieving positive outcomes for residents. Essential Criteria: Level 6 degree in Nursing or Social Work. Be Registered to NISCC or NMC. Demonstrable evidence of 1 years experience working with challenging behaviours such as verbal and physical aggression preferably in a residential setting.
