This rapidly growing architectural practice is scaling fast and doing it properly — with landmark projects across both the private and public sectors, spanning the full island of Ireland. The pipeline is strong, the ambition is bigger, and they are now looking for a Senior Architect to help shape what’s next.
This is not a "keep-the-seat-warm" role. This is about ownership, influence, and leading from the front.
The OpportunityAs a Senior Architect, you’ll take the reins on your own projects from concept through delivery, acting as a trusted point of contact for clients while steering a full, multi-disciplinary design team. You’ll be based in the Belfast office, working closely with colleagues who value collaboration, accountability, and doing great work without unnecessary drama.
What You’ll Be Doing- Leading projects end-to-end, from early design through technical delivery
- Managing client relationships with confidence and credibility
- Coordinating and leading full design teams (consultants, contractors, stakeholders)
- Producing and overseeing high-quality technical drawings and documentation
- Contributing to a growing practice with exciting, diverse work across Ireland
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at Senior Architect level
- Strong technical capability with demonstrable project delivery experience
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Experience running your own projects and leading design teams
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Chartered Architect status with ARB / RIBA / RIAI
Desirable (nice-to-haves, not deal-breakers)
- Passihaus accreditation
- Conservation
- NEC accreditation
Office-based role in Belfast
Monday–Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm (yes, early finish — because balance matters)
