Keenan Recruitment has been retained to appoint an Architect for a thriving, design-led practice based in Belfast. This growing studio is delivering high-quality work across public and private sectors throughout the island of Ireland, and the pipeline is robust. This is a new role, created to support continued growth.
The Role
As an Architect, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through technical delivery, working closely with senior colleagues while building your own project leadership credentials. You’ll be client-facing, technically hands-on, and part of a collaborative team that values clarity, accountability and good humour.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running projects across all RIBA stages with confidence
- Producing and coordinating detailed technical drawings and information
- Liaising directly with clients, consultants and contractors
- Contributing to design development and problem-solving on live schemes
- Playing an active role in a practice that’s scaling with intent
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in architectural practice
- Strong technical capability with AutoCAD
- Experience working across project stages and contributing to delivery
- Clear communication skills and confidence in client-facing situations
- ARB-registered Architect (RIBA / RIAI affiliation welcome)
Desirable (but not essential)
- Familiarity with NEC contracts
Working Pattern
Office-based role in Belfast
Monday–Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm (early finish—because life exists outside site visits)
