Full-time (37.5 hours per week) based in the Stroke Unit at South West Acute Hospital.
£19.10 per hour. Ongoing contract.
Required Experience:- Two years post-graduate experience as a Speech and Language Therapist with adults who have acquired disorders of communication and swallowing, including stroke.
- Evidence of ongoing CPD, including post-graduate, formal, or in-service training in acquired communication/swallowing disorders.
- Post-graduate and/or undergraduate qualification/training and experience in dysphagia that provides competency to independently manage a non-complex dysphagia caseload.
- Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy recognised by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- Successful completion of the RCSLT Newly Qualified Practitioner’s Framework or equivalent.
- Eligibility for registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and HCPC.
