Hours of work: 37.5 per week
Role overview:
The HR Manager is responsible for leading and delivering the organisation’s HR strategy, ensuring effective HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. This role provides guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, and development while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. The HR Manager drives initiatives that enhance culture, engagement, and organisational performance, acting as a trusted partner to leadership and a key contributor to organisational planning and change.
Criteria:
- Third level qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources or business related discipline, or a recognised professional Human Resources qualification at a minimum of level 5.
- 3 years’ generalist HR experience OR 5 years’ generalist HR experience.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
- Demonstrable experience of providing advice, guidance training on HR policies and processes.
- Demonstrable experience in the management of complex disciplinary and grievance cases which is compliant with current NI Employment Legislation and Codes of Practices.
- Proven experience of developing strong consultative relationships with key stakeholders on HR strategies.
- Comfortable with having open, constructive and at times difficult conversations that require an assertive and empathetic approach across all levels.
- Ability to prioritise workload including being able to manage conflicting priorities, setting targets and monitor performance.
