Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Belfast

The BHSCT are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist for the regional Neurology Unit Occupational Therapy team on the Musgrave Park site in Belfast. The suitable candidate must have experience working with people with long term neurological conditions.

Essential Criteria

• No less than 2 years post graduate experience 12 months of which should be in physical medicine, with 6 months in an acute hospital setting.
• No less than 6 months experience assessing and treating patients with neurological, brain or spinal cord injury conditions.
• Diploma of the College of Occupational Therapy or Degree in Occupational Therapy from a College recognised by WFOT.
• Must have HCPC Registration or be eligible for same.

Other

Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by The Organisation which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post.
