Firm Description

Keelys provides a full range of legal services to SMEs, charities and churches. The employment department has over 400 retained clients across the country including The Works, a large employment agency and several church denominations.

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Employment Tribunal Advocate. The role involves defending tribunal claims from drafting the response to representing clients at full hearings. Most hearings will be on line but attendance at tribunals across the country will be necessary when required.

Qualifications

  • Strong advocacy skills
  • Experience representing clients in employment tribunals, including full hearings
  • A solid understanding of UK employment law.
  • Qualification as a solicitor or barrister in the United Kingdom is preferred but we would be open to someone who has the necessary knowledge of employment law and advocacy skills without a formal qualification
