Role Overview

As Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the wider finance function. Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately, matching to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Resolve invoice queries and liaise with suppliers and internal teams as needed
  • Prepare supplier statement reconciliations and support timely payment runs
  • Assist with credit card and expense claim processing
  • Input financial data accurately into the accounting system
  • Support month-end close activities and general finance admin tasks

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident in using Excel and handling data entry
  • Able to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working as part of a team

Qualifications

  • AAT Level 2 (or equivalent experience) preferred but not essential
  • Experience in a similar finance support role
