I'm pleased to be supporting a well-established and purpose-driven organisation with the appointment of a Finance Risk Manager. This is a broad and hands-on role combining finance, credit risk, debt recovery and business partnering, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in the wider business.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, you'll have responsibility for both the day-to-day financial operation and the development of effective credit and risk processes. You'll also lead and develop a small team, providing support, challenge and direction across the finance function.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading credit risk assessments and member/customer due diligence
- Monitoring financial exposure and supporting the development of credit risk strategy
- Managing debt recovery and credit control activities
- Overseeing the sales ledger function
- Developing financial, credit and risk reporting
- Producing cash flow forecasts and analysing trading performance
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
