Chief Financial Officer in Norfolk

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping organisational strategy, driving financial sustainability and supporting long-term growth. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Board and senior leaders, you will provide strategic financial leadership, insightful analysis and constructive challenge to support effective decision-making across the organisation. This is a broad and influential role that combines strategic financial leadership with strong governance, commercial oversight and operational excellence. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the development and delivery of the organisation's financial strategy. Acting as a trusted adviser to the Chief Executive, Board and Executive Leadership Team. Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance reporting. Ensuring robust financial controls, governance arrangements and risk management frameworks are in place. Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. Leading and developing a high-performing finance function. Supporting major investment decisions, organisational change initiatives and growth opportunities. Overseeing audit processes and maintaining effective relationships with external advisers. Driving continuous improvement across financial systems, reporting and processes. Providing strategic oversight of procurement, contracts and significant expenditure programmes. Ensuring the organisation maintains strong financial resilience and long-term sustainability. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) with a proven track record of operating at a senior leadership level within a complex organisation. You will bring: Significant experience developing and delivering financial strategy. Experience advising executive leaders, boards and senior stakeholders. Strong expertise in financial planning, governance, financial control and risk management. Excellent commercial and strategic acumen. The ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight. Strong leadership skills and experience developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. Experience supporting organisational change, transformation and growth.
