Accounts Payable Assistant - Fixed Term Contract

Location: NR7 - Hybrid Working Available

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their Finance Operations team on a 6 to 12-month Fixed Term Contract, supporting their Purchase to Pay process, supplier onboarding, and Payables function. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit finance team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day Payables activities, supplier set-ups, and assisting across the Finance Operations and Commercial team. Our client is looking for someone who is flexible, eager to learn, and willing to pitch in where needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end support of the Purchase to Pay process
  • Supplier set-ups and account maintenance
  • Handling general Payables functions
  • Supporting both Finance Operations and Commercial team
  • Flexibility to assist with other finance tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Quick to learn and adaptable with a solid work ethic
  • Previous Accounts Payable experience is highly desirable
  • Must hold current SC Clearance, or be willing to undergo clearance as part of onboarding
