Full time (1 day remote + flexible hours)

Currently working with a well established manufacturing business to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team on an interim basis. This is a varied and commercially focused role, offering the opportunity to support accurate financial reporting while providing meaningful insight to aid operational decision making.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for producing management accounts, delivering cost and margin analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting. The role will also involve contributing to ongoing improvements in systems and processes as the business continues to develop.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analysis
  • Costing, margin analysis and monitoring manufacturing overheads
  • Stock and WIP reconciliations
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
  • Assisting with audit and statutory requirements
  • Supporting system and process improvements
  • Working closely with operational and procurement teams

About you:

  • Part qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or qualified by experience
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of costing and margin analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively
