We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role offers hands-on experience across accounts, reconciliations, and reporting, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client finance activities and queries
- Assist with month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support preparation of management accounts and internal reports
- Help improve financial processes and operational efficiency
- Participate in funded training and professional development programs
About You
- AAT, Accounting or Finance degree, or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
- Confident using accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Collaborative team player
