I am working with a growing and well established business to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, working closely with the Finance Manager to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting the wider finance function. You will play a key role in supporting the production of monthly management accounts, maintaining financial controls and providing insight to support business decision making. The role will also involve working closely with transactional teams and contributing to ongoing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
- Producing balance sheet reconciliations
- Posting and reconciling bank accounts
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Supporting VAT return preparation
- Producing cashflow reporting
- Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting and improving processes
- Supporting audit preparation and year end requirements
- Providing financial information to support wider business teams
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable teams
Qualifications
- AAT Level 4 qualified or part qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills and good attention to detail
- Organised with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Proactive with a willingness to learn and develop
