Opportunity FT/PT Fixed Term (maternity cover until 2 May 2027). The Harper and Keele Veterinary School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to support the delivery of veterinary sciences modules within the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery programme. Reporting to the programme director, the post holder will contribute to a variety of lectures, tutorials, workshops and practical teaching activities in the programme, with a focus on content which develops student understanding of the principles and mechanisms of veterinary disease.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops and practical teaching activities for the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery programme.
- Contribute to the development of module content to improve student understanding of veterinary disease principles and mechanisms.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the School’s widening access to the veterinary profession for students from all backgrounds.
- Engage in the School’s culture of innovation in teaching and learning.
- Regularly travel between Keele University and Harper Adams University campuses for teaching delivery and administrative duties.
- Liaise with academic colleagues at both Harper Adams and Keele universities.
Qualifications
To be successful you will require a degree or higher qualification in a veterinary and/or animal health sciences area.
