This post represent an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a team of staff at Keele University Sport Centre. The prime function of the Sports Centre is to promote health and wellbeing by providing excellent sport and exercise opportunities for our Students, Staff and Local community. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a range of duties in all areas of the facilities, which will include cleaning, control of facilities, assembling and dismantling of equipment. You will be responsible for overseeing the general safety and behaviour of users to prevent injury, misuse and damage to facilities. An awareness of health and safety is essential, and the candidate will also be willing to work towards a First Aid at Work certificate and once qualified assist in carrying out first aid. The successful candidate will enjoy making a difference to every person who walks through our doors, displaying strong communication and excellent customer service. You will ensure that the sports centre is always presented at its best providing a safe and clean environment. This post will typically work 5 days out of 7 in a working week. Typical shift pattern: Monday 3pm-10.30pm Tuesday 3pm-10.30pm Wednesday 3pm-10.30pm Friday 7.30am-3pm Saturday 9am-6pm
