This is an exciting opportunity to join the History programme in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Keele University as a Lecturer in History and Digital Humanities. This post is available for 3 years from September 2026.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will deliver excellent teaching and student experience in History and Digital Humanities, broadly defined, at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- The role sits within the History programme, but you will contribute expertise in Digital Humanities more broadly across the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
- You will develop innovative research in History and Digital Humanities and contribute to the broader academic community of the institution.
Qualifications
- Expertise in History specialisms and time periods; expertise in non‑European History may be an advantage.
- Capability to deliver modules including Digital Curation and History and Colonial Legacies: The inconvenient Histories of Individuals, Families, and Communities since 1800.
