Full Time, Indefinite Agile working (mainly office based but some remote working possible).

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated team member to join a team of staff in Keele University's Estate & Campus Services Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for the strategic planning, development, operation and maintenance of the university's physical estate and campus services. It acts as the custodian of a large and complex 600-acre campus, overseeing all academic buildings, student accommodation, infrastructure and outdoor spaces, while ensuring they are safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

The Facilities Co-ordinator plays a central role in ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the campus estate. The postholder manages day-to-day facilities activity, coordinates contractor visits, oversees access to specialist areas, and responds to both planned and reactive maintenance needs. The role requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. In addition to operational coordination, the Facilities Co-ordinator contributes to service development, stakeholder support, compliance assurance and continuous improvement across the Estates function.

You will have experience in a similar role, liaising and building relationships with contractors and customers, forward planning, organising resources and improving systems and processes in a Facilities Management/Estates function.
