Keegans is an award‑winning consultancy specialising in procurement, design, management and maintenance of the built environment with a focus on sustainability. As part of the Compliance and Safety Team, we are looking for a full‑time/permanent Retrofit Assessor.
Location: Berkshire and Hampshire area (preference, but not limited).
Responsibilities
- Undertake retrofit assessments in accordance with PAS 2035.
- Provide specialist advice on energy efficiency and renewable energy measures to householders by phone, email and face‑to‑face.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with clients.
- Provide enhanced retrofit advice to support a householder’s journey to a low‑carbon home.
- Deliver retrofit‑focused home visits or surveys with minimal support.
- Maintain and manage relationships with installers and builders to whom clients are referred for further support.
- Support Retrofit Coordinators in the management of retrofit projects and project managers in assessment reports.
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Liaise with other staff in the Retrofit team to ensure effective workload planning, project development and delivery.
- Help with administrative tasks on an ad‑hoc basis.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 3 award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment.
- A construction‑related qualification with experience in the construction industry is preferable.
- Membership of a Trustmark approved scheme.
- Experience delivering Retrofit Assessment Services to clients.
- In‑depth knowledge of the retrofit process as identified within PAS 2035.
