37.5 hours per week. Starting salary £37,081 per annum with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding up to £44,078 per annum. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and participate in the delivery of holistic patient centred care
- Provide specialist symptom control to patients
- Provide professional leadership to support colleagues in providing high quality care
- Ensure patients and their families experience is professional, welcoming, relaxed and friendly
- Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and provide reports as required
What we’re looking for:
- Knowledge of complex symptom control and understanding of symptoms of palliative emergencies
- Experience in caring for patients with palliative and end of life needs
- Keen to learn new clinical skills to actively support our ongoing service development and delivery
- Experience of supporting junior staff
- Advanced communication skills
- NMC Adults Nursing level 1
