Conference & Training Administrator – 30 hours per week – up to 6 months maternity cover
Starting salary £19,413 per annum (FTE £24,267) with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding up to £19,898 per annum (FTE £24,873). Keich Hospice are recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join our Education team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of the conference facilities and events, as well as providing administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Co‑ordinate and administer the conference facilities and bookable meeting spaces
- Be the main point of contact for conference facilities, greeting users and facilitating events
- Support internal and external educational activities
- Undertake general administration for the education team
- Promote conference opportunities to generate income
- Use and train others on conference room technology
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in an administrative role, including diary management
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom and digital tools
