40 hours per week £27,875 per annum with room to develop and progress through the pay grade banding up to £30,019 on a competency-based framework.

Are you passionate about retail and making a difference in the community? Join Keech Hospice as a Shop Manager and lead the team to success and engage with the community to make a meaningful impact. This role offers 40 hours and requires you to be fully flexible, including weekends on a rota basis.

What you will do:

  • Lead and drive the team to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Work closely with the Area Manager ensuring the store is running smoothly.
  • Build relationships with volunteers to ensure they are engaged and involved in Keech events.
  • Attend managers meetings in Keech Head Office.
  • Handle till readings, balancing and banking.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction is maintained by all staff.
  • Implement and maintain systems in line with Keech Hospice policies and procedures.

What you need to do it:

  • Strong management/leadership experience is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar retail role or an interest in working within the charity sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong team spirit, confidently being able to support a diverse team.
