Keeble Brown is looking for an ambitious Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our tight-knit team in Central London (hybrid). The salary ranges from £27k to £32k depending on experience.
Keeble Brown is a dynamic communications, public affairs and community engagement consultancy with a strength in stakeholder relations, community engagement and public consultation. Our client base includes housing and specialist development organisations. Our clients rely on us to add value, drive effective communications and engagement programmes, and provide trusted advice, expertise and insight.
We are looking for an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive with experience in communications, public affairs and community engagement. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in every part of Keeble Brown, working closely with clients from the outset. Attending face-to-face meetings and site visits across the country are essential parts of the role.

As an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive, you will:
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including national and local politicians, civil servants, journalists, and community representatives.
- Build and maintain client relationships, keeping clients informed and updated through face-to-face and virtual meetings as well as written reports.
- Devise and project manage the delivery of communications campaigns, taking ownership of outcomes and deliverables.
- Draft a range of written communications materials at pace and to a high standard, such as community emails, letters, briefing notes, blogs, press releases, and newsletters.
- Monitor and analyse key developments and trends across UK politics and the wider built environment sector.
- Attend and support the running of client events, including drafting supporting materials such as briefings, agendas, and minutes.
- Play an active role in helping the company to secure new business and grow.
Essential skills:
- Have a strong interest in and understanding of housing communications, the UK planning and development sector, and be able to confidently build communications plans and deliver them.
- Be a team player, willing to pitch in and help colleagues when required.
- A proven talent for written communications, with keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt style and tone for different audiences.
- Be confident in managing and taking ownership of tasks, often working to competing deadlines across multiple projects.
- Confident with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Be a ‘people person’, able to confidently communicate with a diverse range of people.
- Possess strong IT skills and be enthusiastic about acquiring new systems expertise to aid in the effective delivery of communications projects.
Desirable skills:
- One to two years’ prior experience working in a communications agency or in-house communications team.
- Experience in using online content management systems, CRM databases, and social media.
- Experience liaising and working with external agencies in a work environment.
- Knowledge of, and an interest in, housing and development – particularly the planning process and community engagement and consultation.
- An interest in multiple sectors including the built environment and housing.
- Some prior event management experience would be useful.
Salary and benefits:
- Range between £27k to £32k depending on experience.
