As a global leader in fall protection, safe access solutions, and training, we're looking for an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead and support our UK and European operations. This is a high-impact role for a proactive HSE professional who enjoys a mix of strategic leadership, auditing, training, and hands-on site engagement. You'll work closely with business leaders across multiple locations to drive a strong safety culture, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and develop HSE programmes across the UK and Europe
- Provide expert guidance on UK and European HSE legislation and best practice
- Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across business units
- Deliver HSE and working-at-height training
- Monitor, analyse, and report on HSE performance and KPIs
- Support accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Work with managers and teams to develop risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 5 years' HSE management experience
- Strong auditing and compliance background
- Sound knowledge of UK and European HSE regulations
- NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
- Experience within construction, work at height, manufacturing, or industrial environments is highly desirable
