We’re excited to be recruiting a Technical Sales Estimator to join Kee Safety’s UK Distribution & Partners division. This role is ideal for an energetic, driven sales professional with a technical mindset and a passion for delivering compliant safety solutions.
You’ll be confident engaging customers by phone and email, comfortable discussing technical details, and motivated to convert enquiries into sales. As a key member of the sales team, you’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries, providing accurate, compliant quotations and supporting customers with expert product advice.

The Role
As a Technical Sales Estimator, you will manage enquiries and produce quotations for both key accounts and new and existing customers. You’ll develop strong product knowledge across the Kee Safety range and ensure all quotations meet relevant UK and international safety standards.
Working closely with the Technical Sales Manager and General Manager, you will play a key role in achieving divisional sales targets while delivering excellent customer service and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for sales enquiries within the Partner Distribution channel
- Prepare accurate, compliant quotations using the Kee Safety product range
- Provide technical advice and support, drawing on wider internal expertise when required
- Proactively develop leads and convert opportunities into sales
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to maximise business growth
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within the CRM system
- Gain a thorough understanding of Kee Safety products and competitor offerings
- Attend site visits across the UK on an ad-hoc basis
- Liaise effectively between customers, sales, technical, and internal administration teams
- Support wider business objectives and undertake additional duties as required by senior management
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Proven experience in a technical sales or estimating role
- Experience issuing quotations and managing customer enquiries
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand customer requirements and propose compliant solutions
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven
- Full clean UK driving licence
Desirable
- Background in construction, engineering, or a technically focused discipline
- Experience within fall protection, work at height, or safety-related industries
- Working knowledge of CRM systems
- Competence using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to use CAD software
