We are currently recruiting for experienced Electricians to work on a high-security site in Reading. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, you must either already hold Security Clearance (SC) or be eligible and willing to undergo the clearance process.
The Role
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and remedial works
- Work on commercial and industrial systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Complete detailed job reports and documentation
- Follow strict health & safety and compliance procedures
- Operate within a permit-to-work system on a secure site
Security Requirement (Essential)
- Must hold active SC Clearance, OR
- Must be eligible and willing to undergo SC clearance (no exceptions)
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Valid ECS Card (Gold preferred)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- Proven experience on commercial or industrial projects
Desirable
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
- Previous experience on MOD, nuclear, or other high-security sites
- SSSTS
- Strong understanding of compliance and reporting
