Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of steel pipe systems
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Working with high-pressure and industrial pipework systems
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with engineers, site managers, and other trades
- Conducting testing, inspection, and fault-finding on installed systems
Requirements
- Proven experience in steel pipe installation (industrial/commercial environments)
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- Valid CSCS card (preferred)
- Strong understanding of health & safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Must hold active SC (Security Clearance) or DV (Developed Vetting)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience working on government or defence-related projects
- Welding or pipefitting certifications
- IPAF or PASMA certification
