As Global Ethics & Compliance Officer, you will work closely with senior leaders and functional teams to embed a strong, practical and effective ethics and compliance framework across the organisation. Acting as a trusted partner, you will help the business manage compliance risks, meet regulatory obligations and continuously strengthen the Global Ethics & Compliance System in a complex, international environment.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with assigned global functions to identify, assess and manage legal and compliance risks linked to their activities.
- Provide practical, business‑centred compliance advice, engaging subject‑matter experts across Legal, HR, Finance, IT, Quality, EHS, Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance.
- Co‑lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Global Ethics & Compliance System, including policies, controls, training, monitoring and reporting.
- Support the Head of Global Ethics & Compliance in defining annual global ethics and compliance priorities, plans and budget.
- Define and drive annual ethics and compliance initiatives with functional leadership, including risk assessments, policy development, training programmes and awareness campaigns.
- Monitor and assess the effective implementation of ethics and compliance policies, procedures and controls across the business.
Qualifications and need‑to‑know
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 10 years' relevant compliance experience in commercial or industrial organisations; experience in life sciences is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of effective compliance programme frameworks under European and US regulatory guidance.
- Proven experience implementing and configuring compliance‑related tools or platforms.
- Experience with data governance and data analytics applied to compliance risk management.
- Advanced digital and data analytics capability.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
