We're looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our UK HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Working closely with the wider HR team, you'll help ensure employee relations matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation, company policies and best practice. This is a hands-on role where you'll provide practical employee relations advice and support.
What you'll do
- Managing employee relations cases from start to finish
- Conducting investigations, hearings and appeals where required
- Providing practical advice that balances commercial and people considerations
- Helping managers make fair, well-informed people decisions
- Coaching managers in ER matters
Qualifications and need-to-know
- Proven experience handling employee relations cases independently.
- Experience supporting managers through disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance processes.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent investigation and case management skills.
- Strong judgement and the ability to balance commercial and people considerations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience within a regulated manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment would be desirable.
You'll join a collaborative and supportive HR team, building strong working relationships across the business and contributing from day one.
We are primarily seeking someone able to work on a full-time basis; however, some flexibility may be considered if you are looking for part time only.
