- Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress, using data and feedback to support achievement and continuous improvement
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes high standards of behaviour, wellbeing and personal development
- Support pupils with SEND and safeguarding needs, working collaboratively with the SENCo, DSL and wider school team to ensure appropriate support.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, educational visits, parents' evenings and ongoing school improvement initiatives.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A qualification in SEND education is desirable
- Experience of teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
- Experience of working with children and young people with SEND and ASC
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods
