Are you passionate about supporting young minds and making a real difference in the classroom? We're looking for a dedicated, energetic, and caring Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a responsibility for Food Technology to join our fantastic team!
Responsibilities:
- To work with students, parents, teachers and outside agencies on matters related to student welfare, thereby encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes to student learning.
- Ensure the school is adequately resourced to provide effective cover, supervision and arrangements for lessons.
- To work under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, to implement planning.
- Complement the professional work of the teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities.
- Deliver planned lessons in line with the school curriculum for students in Key Stages 2-4.
- Ensure lessons are engaging, informative, and aligned with educational standards and objectives.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Organise and conduct food-based learning and enrichment activities, ensuring they are inclusive and beneficial for all students.
Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent qualifications, to include English and Maths.
- Evidence of CPD or an interest in learning.
- Effective communication with parents and carers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good personal organisation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
