About Olsen House School: Olsen House School is a specialist setting for students with Education, Health and Care Plans, focusing on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and associated social, emotional and mental health needs. The opportunity: We are seeking an excellent Interim Media Teacher to join us from April to July 2026, providing high-quality, consistent teaching during a fixed-term period.
You will:
- Teach Media across KS3/KS4 (as required by timetable), using clear routines and strong classroom practice.
- Deliver a well-sequenced curriculum (including practical production work where appropriate) with strong modelling and scaffolding.
- Set high expectations for behaviour, engagement and outcomes, in a calm and predictable way.
- Use assessment and feedback to secure progress over a short time frame.
- Work effectively with support staff to reduce barriers and strengthen participation.
