We are looking for four caring, motivated, and dynamic Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated SEN provision, supporting children and young people. This is your chance to join asupportive, forward‑thinking team and play a vital role in transforming lives.
Who are we?
Established in 2018, Oakbridge School is an independent special day school in Handsworth, Birmingham with a specially designed learning environment created to meet the needs of autistic children. We provide a calm, low arousal, safe, positive and nurturing place where young people can learn and grow.
Oakbridge School is part of the Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Providing in-class support for individual students and small groups.
- Creating a fun, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Developing and implementing bespoke interventions for students in partnership with teaching staff
