About the role:
As a teacher at Fernways School, you will play a vital role in delivering the school\’s vision of providing a creative curriculum tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of each child, enabling them to make progress and develop into well-rounded, confident, and independent young people. You will be working across Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics subjects.
You will be responsible for planning and teaching well-structured lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, and adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and other complex needs.
About you:
For this role, we are looking for someone who holds QTS, and ideally you will have experience of working with children with SEND and ASC. With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective primary/secondary teaching, which engages and motivates young people, you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people.
