Work is underway to refurbish and prepare our new site in Battersea ready for our new school, Shillington Park opening in Autumn 2026. This role will commence in September 2026.

What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
- Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome.
- Experience in teaching Science as a specialism.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.

Who are we?
Shillington Park is a new Special Educational Needs school opening in Autumn 2026 in Battersea. Our school will support children aged between 7 to 16 years with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in a mainstream or specialist setting and would benefit from an integrated therapeutic approach to education. Pupils will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) but may not yet have a diagnosis, though they display traits of Autism and associated conditions. Shillington Park is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).
