Term time only - 45 weeks per year.

Work is underway to refurbish and prepare our new site in Battersea ready for our new school, Shillington Park.

Shillington Park is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic

School Cleaner to join our team.

This role will commence in October 2026

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensuring the school is cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Ensuring that the agreed standards and targets are maintained
  • Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, dining areas, and toilets as required.
  • Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling guidelines are followed.
  • Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the relevant staff.

Who are we?

Shillington Park is a new Special Educational Needs school opening in Autumn 2026 in Battersea.

Our school will support children aged between 7 to 16 years with Autism and associated conditions who have not been able to access education in a mainstream or specialist setting and would benefit from an integrated therapeutic approach to education.

Pupils will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) but may not yet have a diagnosis, though they display traits of Autism and associated conditions.

Shillington Park is part of Kedleston Group.

We specialise in providing specialist education for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

We are committed to safeguarding and protecting children and we expect all colleagues to share this commitment.
