The Role
- We are seeking an enthusiastic English specialist primary‑trained teacher to deliver the English curriculum across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, with experience of Key Stage 4 desirable.
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality English lessons that engage and challenge pupils.
- Foster a positive learning environment supporting educational and personal growth.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Support pupils with ASC, ADHD and a range of additional learning needs.
- Create a structured and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, external professionals and the wider school community to support pupil outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching English across KS2 and KS3.
- Desirable: experience of teaching English at KS4 and delivering Entry Level and Functional Skills qualifications.
- Desirable: a qualification in SEND education.
- Experience working with children with ASC and SEN.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to inspire and motivate children.
