We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Marketing Assistant to join our team located at our head office in Blackburn. Vital Energi is a leading UK provider of sustainable energy solutions, known for designing, installing, owning, and operating low-carbon energy systems. With a strong focus on innovation and environmental responsibility, Vital Energi partners with public and private sector organisations to deliver energy-efficient infrastructure that supports the UK’s net-zero ambitions.
The role is ideal for a creative and confident communicator looking to start or develop a career in Marketing. As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the Marketing team in delivering impactful campaigns, content, and events that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, social media content, and case studies.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Assist in updating website content and company social media platforms.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and industry insights.
- Assist in the organisation of events and exhibitions, ensuring brand presence and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content for our internal newsletter and case studies that showcase our projects and successes.
- Help monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and values.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Events, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- An eye for detail and a creative mindset.
- Experience using social media platforms in a professional capacity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or Canva.
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and digital analytics tools.
- Experience working with and editing videos using software such as CapCut or Premier Pro.
- Previous experience in a similar marketing role or internship.
- Salary negotiable (DOE).
