As Keane Premier Support Services continues to grow, we are excited to recruit compassionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our brand-new supported living service at Stewarton Residences. Stewarton Residences is a purpose-built supported living complex designed to provide high-quality accommodation and support for individuals to live as independently as possible within their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service from the very beginning, helping to create a positive, empowering and person-centred environment for the people we support.

You will work closely with individuals who have a range of support needs, encouraging independence, promoting choice and supporting them to achieve their personal goals whilst living fulfilling lives within their local community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, wishes and goals.
  • Support individuals with personal care where required.
  • Assist with medication administration in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills.
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation and nutritional needs.
  • Support individuals with household tasks and maintaining their homes.
  • Assist with budgeting and managing finances in accordance with support plans and company procedures.
  • Encourage participation in social, recreational and community activities.
  • Support individuals to attend appointments and access healthcare services where required.
  • Build positive relationships with individuals, their families, advocates and professionals.
  • Promote dignity, choice, independence and inclusion at all times.
  • Be aware of adult support and protection responsibilities and report concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete documentation using company systems and platforms.

Flexibility will be required, and employees may be asked to work at Stewarton Residences or at other Keane Premier Support Services locations within a reasonable travelling distance in order to meet the needs of the service.

What We're Looking For:

You do not need previous experience in care or support services. We are looking for caring, reliable and motivated individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others live independent and fulfilling lives. Experience in social care, support work, learning disabilities, autism, mental health support or supported living is welcomed but not essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A caring and compassionate approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting independence, dignity and respect.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence is desirable but not essential.
