As the Regional Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of care services within our Central region, with support provided to other regions as required. Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will support Home and Service Managers to achieve high standards of quality, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability and workforce stability.
The role is based at our Head Office in Cambuslang, with travel across Scotland and participation in the Senior On-Call Rota required.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and support Home and Service Managers across your region through coaching, management meetings and performance management.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of your services, ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate regulations, health and safety legislation and company policy.
- Carry out audits and service reviews, ensuring action plans are developed and delivered.
- Oversee clinical and personal care standards, including medication management and care planning.
- Lead investigations into complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns, ensuring lessons are learned.
- Take an active lead on people matters across your region, overseeing employee relations cases and guiding on the most complex, in line with employment law and Company policy.
- Ensure rota planning is safe, compliant and cost-effective, with Working Time Regulations, right to work and safer recruitment requirements met across all services.
- Oversee workforce planning, recruitment and retention, controlling staffing costs and reducing agency usage.
- Champion staff engagement and recognition, actively taking part in initiatives that boost morale and celebrate success.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, taking corrective action where required.
- Grow occupancy and delivered hours, supporting marketing and business development.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, NHS Scotland, commissioners and regulatory bodies.
- Promote a positive, open and person-centred culture for residents, families and staff.
- Provide senior on-call cover and act as the escalation point for emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland.
- Active NMC registration (desirable).
- Experience managing both care home and care at home services (desirable).
- Experience leading transformational change and service development programmes (desirable).
- Leadership and Management qualification.
- Significant regional or multi-site management experience within health and social care.
- Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop leaders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience managing quality, compliance, workforce and financial performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
