You'll also need: * Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. * Confidence communicating with drivers, colleagues and external providers. * Good attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of accurate transport records. * Confidence using computer-based systems and maintaining electronic records. * The ability to remain calm and practical when priorities change or unexpected operational issues arise. Experience of tachograph administration, drivers' hours, vehicle maintenance scheduling, driver licence checks or wider transport compliance would be particularly useful. A Transport Manager CPC qualification would be an advantage but is not essential. Hours Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm, with one Saturday in every three from 8.00am to 12.00pm. Some flexibility will be required to meet the operational needs of the business. Salary £30,000–£32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
