My client are a leader in developing FinTech solutions to multiple financial services providers. Due to growth in demand for their platform they are scaling quickly and as such, need a Lead DevOps Engineer to develop their infrastructure ensuring scalability and reliability as they migrate to a new cloud environment.
Essential Technical skills:
- Linux System Administration
- Containerization and deployment - Docker and Kubernetes and/or GKE
- Cloud - AWS and GCP (Desirable)
- IaC - Terraform
- Scripting - Javascript, Typescript
- CI/CD pipelines
Other Essential Skills:
- Team leadership - you will have led small teams of DevOps engineers previously
- Strategy - Design and deliver the DevOps Roadmap
- Stakeholder Management - work with the wider business to align infrastructure strategy with the business objectives. Promote and advocate DevOps culture and activities across the organisation
This is a unique chance to be the Lead DevOps Engineer in a fast growth FinTech company, as they scale their infrastructure in AWS, owning the roadmap and development of DevOps in an exciting organisation which plans to migrate to GCP in the next 12 months or so (GCP is desirable but not essential).
