Are you an experienced QA Analyst with a strong background in the Lloyd’s and London Market insurance sector? We’re working with a global insurance group that is seeking a permanent Quality Assurance Analyst to join their high-performing Change Delivery function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering business-critical transformation projects within the London Market.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of systems and change initiatives, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors. This role is pivotal in delivering high standards across testing, compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed manual and automated test plans and cases.
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing and systems delivery.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, project managers, and third-party suppliers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including future test automation.
- Track and report defects, ensuring clear communication across teams.
Essential Experience
- 5+ years in Quality Assurance, including end-to-end testing across systems.
- Experience with Policy Administration Systems (PAS) is essential.
- Strong understanding of the Lloyd’s and London Insurance Market, including broking and/or underwriting processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Postman, and SoapUI.
- Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
- Involvement in business change projects or system migration programmes.
