The Role
The Pricing Analyst will work closely with the Head of Commercial to lead advanced pricing analytics, forecasting, and commercial modelling across both fuel and non-fuel product portfolios. This is a highly analytical, hands-on role sitting at the centre of pricing decisions, revenue optimisation, and commercial performance. You will use SQL, Python, and data visualisation tools to build robust models, generate insight, and improve how pricing strategies are designed and executed across a complex, fast-moving market.
- Own and develop pricing analysis across fuel and non-fuel products, ensuring accurate weekly pricing decisions
- Build and maintain advanced forecasting models to support revenue, margin, and demand planning
- Use SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyse large, complex datasets
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate pricing performance and commercial insight
- Support scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and business case development with Finance
- Contribute to the optimisation of pricing strategies across a diverse customer and product base
Your Experience
We are looking for a highly analytical Pricing Analyst with strong technical skills and a commercial mindset. You will be confident working with large datasets, building models from scratch, and translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insight.
- 3+ years’ experience in pricing, commercial analytics, revenue management, or similar analytical roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and modelling
- Experience building forecasting models, financial models, or pricing tools
- Strong understanding of pricing mechanics, margin drivers, and commercial levers
- Experience using data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial, finance, and operational teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical approach
- Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear and commercially relevant way
