Senior Technical Project Manager (Contract)
Contract: Initial 3 Months
Location: Leeds - Hybrid (2 days onsite)
Start Date: September 1st 2026
We're supporting a well-established UK organisation undergoing a significant technology transformation and are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager.
This is a hands‑on delivery role, leading multiple business‑critical technology initiatives focused on platform modernisation and systems integration. You'll work across technical and business teams to deliver complex projects in a fast‑paced enterprise environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Deliver complex technical projects from initiation through to implementation.
- Lead cloud transformation and platform modernisation initiatives.
- Coordinate technical integration activities across multiple systems.
- Work closely with engineering teams, architects and third‑party suppliers.
- Manage programme governance, risks, dependencies and stakeholder communications.
- Produce high‑quality reporting and executive updates.
What we're looking for:
We're interested in speaking with Senior Technical Project Managers or Technical Programme Managers who can demonstrate experience delivering enterprise technology transformation programmes.
You'll ideally have experience in:
- Cloud transformation or cloud migration.
- Technical systems integration.
- CRM or enterprise platform modernisation.
- Managing both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
Exposure to payment platforms or payment‑related technology would be advantageous but is NOT essential*
About you
- You'll be someone who can quickly understand complex technical environments, ask the right questions and confidently challenge where needed. You're comfortable operating independently, managing multiple workstreams and building strong relationships across technical and business teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem‑solving and risk management skills are essential.
