Business Analyst – Business Transformation | North Yorkshire (Hybrid)
We're working with a well-established UK managed services provider headquartered in North Yorkshire to find an experienced Business Analyst to join their CTO function on a significant, multi-year business transformation programme.
This isn't a peripheral project role. The business is mid-way through a major overhaul of its core processes across finance, service delivery and sales, and needs a BA who can hit the ground running in a fast-moving, sometimes fluid environment. You'll be working directly alongside the Head of Digital Transformation and Enterprise Architect, engaging with some challenging senior stakeholders and helping to drive real change across the organisation.
The programme centres around a Dynamics 365 implementation so hands-on D365 experience, particularly F&O, is important. If you've worked on a D365 transformation before and know how to bridge the gap between business process and platform capability, this role is worth a conversation.
What you'll be doing
You'll be working across discovery and delivery, facilitating workshops with SMEs to map current and target state processes, writing persona-based user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps, supporting testing and business readiness activities, and helping the business transition from old ways of working to new. There's also a data and reporting element, supporting dashboard requirements and contributing to a wider move towards a more data-driven, AI-first operating model.
What we're looking for
- Proven BA experience within business transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with senior and sometimes difficult stakeholders
- Experience writing user stories and working in Agile environments
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Experience with reporting and data-focused projects a bonus
The setup
12-month fixed term contract. Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week on site at their North Yorkshire head office. Salary up to £50,000.
