The Role

This is a highly analytical and commercially focused Pricing Analytics Manager role sitting at the heart of our client's pricing, revenue and commercial decision-making. You will take ownership of advanced pricing analysis, modelling and forecasting across a complex, high-volume fuel and non-fuel product environment. Working closely with senior leadership, finance and product teams, you will help shape how pricing strategies are built, tested and optimised across thousands of customers. This is a hands-on, technically advanced role where you will be expected to move seamlessly between deep analytical work and commercial storytelling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading advanced pricing analytics across fuel and associated product portfolios
  • Building and maintaining forecasting and scenario models to support commercial decision-making
  • Developing and automating financial and revenue models to improve margin performance and customer value
  • Using SQL and Python to extract, manipulate and analyse large and complex datasets
  • Creating dashboards and visual outputs using BI/visualisation tools to communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting commercial strategy through data-led insight, pricing optimisation and performance analysis
  • Working closely with Finance on revenue forecasting, business cases and margin analysis
  • Contributing to the evolution of pricing infrastructure, tools and analytical capability across the business

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex commercial problems through data, modelling and structured analytical thinking.

Your Experience

Our client is looking for a highly analytical pricing or commercial data professional with strong technical capability and a deep understanding of how pricing, revenue and customer behaviour interact. You will likely bring:

  • 5-8+ years' experience in pricing analytics, revenue management or similar data-led commercial roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis and modelling
  • Advanced financial modelling and forecasting experience, ideally within a commercial or revenue-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of pricing mechanics, margin optimisation and customer value drivers
  • Experience building and maintaining complex datasets, models or analytical frameworks
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, commercial insights for senior stakeholders
  • Experience using BI/visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar)
