As part of this journey, they are looking to appoint a BI Manager to lead the development of their business intelligence function and help drive better decision-making through data, reporting and insight.
You will play a key role in shaping the organisation's data strategy, enhancing reporting capability and identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency and business performance.
Business Intelligence & Data
- Develop and deliver the BI strategy, roadmap and reporting standards.
- Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models.
- Develop and maintain Azure SQL data warehouse environments and reporting datasets.
- Improve data quality, governance, documentation and reporting accuracy.
- Automate reporting processes and optimise data models, SQL performance and reporting efficiency.
- Champion best practice across data, reporting and analytics.
- Deliver practical AI-driven and automation initiatives that create measurable business value.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Technology & Business Systems
- Contribute to broader technology and digital transformation initiatives.
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend improvements that support business objectives.
- Collaborate with operational and business leaders to ensure systems and technology align with organisational needs.
- Support the ongoing optimisation and integration of core business systems.
We're seeking a commercially minded BI professional who combines strong technical expertise with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the business.
Key Requirements
- Significant experience within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Data Management roles.
- Advanced SQL Server and Azure SQL expertise.
- Strong Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query and data modelling.
- Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses and reporting platforms.
- Proven ability to deliver reporting solutions that drive business performance.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable data solutions.
- Experience managing or mentoring BI, data or technical teams.
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dataverse, Azure, Microsoft Fabric or Power Platform experience.
- Exposure to AI, automation, API integration or Python.
- Experience supporting digital transformation programmes.
