The Role:
As IT Compliance Manager, you'll sit within IT Shared Services and take ownership of governance and compliance frameworks across IT operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
Key aspects of the role:
- Lead and evolve IT governance and compliance frameworks across the organisation
- Coordinate and support internal and external customer audits, including planning and follow‐up actions
- Act as a key interface between IT, business stakeholders, and group‐level functions
- Drive the documentation, tracking, and resolution of audit findings and compliance requirements
- Develop and improve IT processes, policies, and control frameworks (including agile alignment)
- Provide governance reporting, performance metrics, and insight to senior stakeholders
- Advise technical and non‐technical teams on compliance, risk, and process standards (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI, GDPR)
- Support continuous improvement of governance tooling and workflows (e.g. Jira/Confluence)
Your Experience:
We're looking for someone with a strong grounding in IT governance, audit, or compliance within a complex IT environment, ideally with exposure to regulated industries.
You will likely have:
- 3+ years' experience in IT governance, compliance, risk, or audit (or 5+ years via vocational route)
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and/or BSI standards
- Experience supporting or managing internal/external audits and stakeholder reporting
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across IT and business teams
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, structured and independent working style
- Good written and spoken English
- Good written and spoken German
